Zürich, located at the Lake Zürich, is the largest Swiss city with almost 400,000 inhabitants. The city is also the home of major banks like UBS or Credit Suisse and more than 56 multi family offices. We introduce you to three of them.
#1: Alpenrose Wealth Management
Alpenrose is a multi family office with its own asset and portfolio management division. The Zurich-based company was founded by Pierre Gabris and Thierry Grin. Gabris worked as private banker and research analyst at Lombard Odier and UBS. Grin was a senior client advisor at UBS. As a multi family office, Alpenrose takes care of secretarial, accounting and private services (like aviation management or the sale of luxury real estate and paintings).
#2: Marcuard Family Office
Founded in 1998 through three partners, the Marcuard family office grew up to 27 employees. Today, Marcuard offers a wide range of services on a high level, from risk analysis, portfolio controlling to taxes and investment management. The Zurich-based MFO also offers private equity consulting which are dealt with through fund investments and even direct co-investments.
#3: DuLac Capital
Since 2007, DuLac Capital offers its multi family office services. The company which is located just minutes away from the Lake Zurich is an active member of the Swiss Association of Asset Managers. Services offered by DuLac are investment management, alternative investments, real estate services and usual concierge and law services. The team is led by industry veterans like Domino Burki (former Deputy Head of Compliance at Credit Suisse), Andreas Peterlik (Investment Banking / Corporate Finance at Credit Suisse) or Anselm Schmucki (UBS).
