The Italian newspaper Milano Finanzo revealed that two American firms are in „advanced talks“ to take over the Italian soccer club Spezia. The two American firms are ALK Capital and MSD Capital. The latter is the single-family office of American billionaire Michael Dell. Dell made billions through computer and laptop retail. His family office is an active investor in various asset classes. ALC Capital is run by Alan Pace, who recently purchased 84% of UK-based Premier League club Burnley for 170 million GBP. The offer of ALK and MSD for Spezia is – according to Milano Finanza – around €25M.
