We created this article as part of our research process for our Asian single family office database. Here, we are highlighting an investment of Singapore-based single family office Amaya Ventures.

The Mumbai-based fintech LXME works on a fintech platform tailored for women. Now, it raised a $1.2M seed round from various investors, amongst them the Singaporean single family office Amaya Ventures. LXME’s platform offers products tailored to women, such as funds, prepaid shopping cards, loans and financial education offers. The Indian fintech community already reaches more than 400,000 women. The recent seed funding round was led by Kalaari Capital. Other investors include Yash Kela, Capri Holdings, Adiko Holding and Aditi Kothari.

Spotlight on the Amaya Ventures family office

The Amaya Ventures family office is mainly focused on startup investments. Investments include Leverage Edu, Carpl.ai and One Mobiwik Systems. While the recent LXME investment was conducted at seed stage, the family office also pursues pre-IPO deals and private equity investments.The latest angel investment of the family office from Singapore dates back to 2011. Besides that, Amaya Ventures support various philanthropic causes, such as the Nudge Foundation, Udayan Care or the CFS AMAYA Foundation.
