Indian Sekhsaria family office invests in $10M round of dairy brand

Sid’s Farm is a Hyderabad-based dairy brand, that offers antibiotic-, hormone- and preservative-free milk and milk products through direct to consumer distribution. The firm already offers its products to more than 25,000 customers. Through the recent funding round, the premium dairy brand aims to strengthen its market presence in the Bengaluru and Hyderabad region. Besides milk, the firm also offers buffalo milk, curd, paneer, butter and ghee. The firm conducts more than 45 tests to ensure the high quality of the underlying milk, making sure that it is free of hormones and antibiotics. The funding round was led by Omnivore, a venture capital fund from Mumbai, and the Sekhsaria family office.

Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office: Mumbai-based single family office

Narotam Sekhsaria is the founder of the leading Indian cement firm Ambuja Cements. Through his family office, Sekhsaria invests in public markets, private equity, property and commodities. The family office also has several investment arms, such as Radha Madhav Investments (agri-commodity trading, etc.), Pi Ventures LLP (early-stage investing) and Falak Investment Pvt Ltd (strategic investments). In 2023, the family office also invested in the D2C beauty startup Pilgrim.
