This article is a direct result of the research process for our list of single family offices in the United States. In this article, we are describing a new joint venture between a Hong Kong family office and the John Textor one.
John Textor’s family office has entered into a joint venture with Tsangs Group, a Hong Kong-based family office focused on bridging East and West through innovative investments. The partnership aims to expand global investments in the entertainment, sports, and media sectors, leveraging both parties’ expertise and strategic positioning. Patrick Tsang, Chairman of Tsangs Group, will act as a strategic advisor to Textor’s family office for the Middle East and Southeast Asia, as well as providing specific counsel for his leadership role in Eagle Football Holdings Ltd. Eagle Football, Textor’s family of football clubs and academies, spans organizations in Lyon, London, Brussels, Florida, and Rio de Janeiro, and is expected to list on the New York Stock Exchange in 2024. This partnership marks a continuation of the successful collaboration between the two firms, which previously resulted in the high-profile merger of FaceBank Group and fuboTV, a transaction that achieved a market capitalization of over $8 billion in late 2020.
