Step 1: Download a high-quality family office list
The basis for determining executive email addresses should always be an up-to-date and high-quality listing of target companies. The high-quality family office lists from familyofficehub.io are perfectly suited for this. Most familyofficehub lists contain the executive names directly in mail merge format. If you are satisfied with general contact details (info@ emails), you can stop at this point. If you are interested in executive emails, continue with Step 2.

Step 2: Save the List as a .csv File
By default, all our lists are delivered in Excel format. However, for uploading to the tool we introduce – hunter.io* – they must be in .csv format. Simply go to File -> Save As -> Select storage location, set a name, choose “Comma-separated values (.csv)” as the file format, and you’re done.
Step 3: Create a Hunter Account, Upload the List via Bulk Upload
To determine executive email addresses, we recommend the tool hunter.io* (although with a bit of Googling, you can find a number of alternatives – however, our customers have had good experiences with Hunter). After signing up, you can select the “Bulk Upload” option; in the next step, choose “Email Finder.” Then, upload the file saved as a .csv in Step 2.
Step 4: Select Columns with Executive Names
In the next step, you need to select which columns contain the company name, executive first name, executive last name, and the company URL (you may need to scroll to the right, as we often list executive details in the last columns of our lists). The necessary executive name data is included in almost all familyofficehub.io lists. Based on the selected information, Hunter searches for executive email addresses or determines them using the standard corporate email format.
Step 5: Download Executive Emails
Done! Now, Hunter provides an analysis of how many entries had personal email addresses identified. Typically, the success rate is between 30-70%, depending on the industry. The downloadable list includes both the original information from our list and the identified emails, along with additional data (such as the source of the emails) and Hunter’s confidence level in the provided addresses.
What About GDPR Compliance with familyofficehub.io Lists?
Our lists should be legally unobjectionable in terms of data protection: we only offer company data, and the included information is always either publicly available or provided by the family offices themselves.
