About Lollapalooza Capital: The Wang Huiwen family office

Lollapalooza Capital is the family office of Wang Huiwen, co-founder of Meituan, China’s dominant local services and food delivery platform. Wang built Meituan alongside his longtime friend and university roommate Wang Xing, having previously co-founded the early Chinese social network Xiaonei, and served as a senior executive at Meituan until his retirement from active management in 2020. He returned to the spotlight in 2023 when he founded the AI startup Light Year (Guangnian Zhiwai) at the height of the large language model wave; the company was subsequently acquired by Meituan after Wang stepped back for health reasons. In recent years Wang has repeatedly invested in Chinese AI companies, and his participation in funding rounds is often read by the market as a personal expression of confidence in next-generation technology platforms. The investment in AISHE Technology places his family office in one of the top-tier financings of China’s AI video sector, a segment that has attracted more than RMB 10 billion in disclosed funding since 2025.
