The company was founded in 2009 by Ari Tuchman and John Stockton, two quantum physicists with a shared interest in extracting signals from data, who now serve as CEO and co-founder respectively. Quantifind will use the capital to expand across Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Americas, strengthen regional partnerships, advance regulatory alignment, and extend localized risk intelligence capabilities. About the Stephens Group family office: The Stephens family’s private investment vehicle

The Stephens Group is the private family investment vehicle of the Stephens family of Arkansas, with roots dating back to 1927, when W.R. “Witt” Stephens began his career as a salesman before pivoting to bond trading and forming W.R. Stephens Investment Company in 1933, an enterprise that would eventually develop into Stephens Inc., the largest investment banking firm off Wall Street. In 1986, Witt and his brother Jack Stephens created Stephens Group, Inc. to hold all of the combined Stephens family’s private holdings outside of the investment bank. In 2006, Witt Stephens, Jr. and Elizabeth S. Campbell sold their interests in Stephens Inc. and assumed the Stephens Group name to focus solely on principal investing, with Witt Stephens, Jr. assuming the CEO role. Today, The Stephens Group manages approximately $2 billion in active private investments spanning more than 200 investments over the course of its history. The firm concentrates on several well-defined industry verticals, including industrial products and services and vertical software, while also pursuing opportunistic investments. Notable historical investments have included taking Walmart public in 1970, backing Energy Transfer alongside Ray Davis and Kelcy Warren, and exiting a nearly 40-year stake in Alltel Corporation when it was acquired by TPG and Goldman Sachs in a transaction valued at $27.5 billion in 2007.
