Amsterdam-based Silverflow has closed a $40 million Series B funding round led by Picus Capital, with participation from Rabo Investments and existing investors Global PayTech Ventures, Inkef, Crane Venture Partners, and Coatue. The round will fund Silverflow’s continued global expansion, product development, and a planned headcount increase of more than 50% to around 120 employees, with a particular focus on strengthening its presence in North America and Southeast Asia. Founded in Amsterdam, Silverflow provides a cloud-native card payment processing platform that connects payment service providers, acquirers, and merchants directly to card networks via a single API, replacing legacy processing infrastructure with a more flexible and data-rich architecture. Since its Series A, the company has grown from processing approximately 180 transactions per day to nearly 1.75 million, serving acquiring banks and payment companies across Europe, North America, and Asia-Pacific. Global PayTech Ventures is a returning investor, having previously led Silverflow’s Series A round.

About Global PayTech Ventures: The Perez family’s investment vehicle

Global PayTech Ventures (GPT) is a Miami, Florida-based venture capital firm founded in 2021 by Javier Perez and his sons Daniel and Kristofer Perez. The firm operates as a family-run investment vehicle focused exclusively on early-stage payment technology companies, typically investing from seed through Series B. Javier Perez spent nearly two decades as President and CEO of Mastercard Europe, during which he oversaw the merger of Mastercard with Europay and helped bring three payments startups to IPO; he also previously served as Head of Business Development for Visa’s EMEA operations. Son Kristofer Perez leads GPT’s strategic advisory practice, drawing on experience at Visa, Mastercard Advisors, the Boston Consulting Group, and IBM across more than 120 fintech projects in eight countries. Son Daniel Perez focuses on deal sourcing and portfolio company development, applying product management expertise from his prior role at Mastercard. GPT’s portfolio of eight companies spans the Netherlands, Colombia, Denmark, and several other markets, with notable investments including PaySend, DRUO, and Silverflow. Javier Perez is also a board member of Silverflow’s advisory board, underlining the value that family offices with a background from the same industry as their targets can bring to the table, through their experience and network.
