Middleton family office invests seven-figure sum in golf simulator brand TeeGo

This article – focusing on a recent startup investment of the UK-based Middleton family office – is the result of our research for the European Single Family Office database, highlighting prominent family investment offices across Europe. All UK single-family offices can be found in our unique list of the largest single-family offices in the United Kingdom.

Middleton Enterprises, the family office of HomeServe co-founder Jeremy Middleton, has invested a seven-figure sum of upwards of £1 million into TeeGo, a UK indoor golf simulator company. The investment, announced in the week of the Open Championship in July 2026, will fund TeeGo’s expansion from its current six sites to 20 across the UK by the end of 2028, as the company aims to become the largest dedicated indoor golf clubhouse network in the country. TeeGo has grown from one to six London venues over the past two years, with locations in Putney, Hampstead, Angel, Balham, Battersea and Hackney Wick, and is now targeting cities such as Birmingham, Manchester and Nottingham. The company logged 6,000 rounds of golf in the last year, an increase of 155%, and offers more than 400 virtual courses on which 18 holes can be played in under half an hour. TeeGo CEO Jay Patel expects more Londoners to be playing golf indoors than outdoors within a year, citing the cost, time commitment and shrinking number of traditional courses. Middleton Enterprises’ Julian Liban highlighted that TeeGo brings new players into the game rather than just capturing existing golfers.

About Middleton Enterprises: The Jeremy Middleton family office

Middleton Enterprises is the UK-based family office of Jeremy Middleton, co-founder of HomeServe, the home emergency repairs and services group that was sold for £4.1 billion. The family office invests across consumer, leisure and services businesses with a focus on ambitious growth companies. Its portfolio includes SushiDog, a chain of quick-service restaurants specialising in sushi rolls and poke bowls, Smash Padel, one of the UK’s fastest growing padel operators, onsite upholstery repair service Upholstery2U, Neapolitan pizza group Fatto a Mano, short-term property lender Apex Bridging and proptech software business One Utility Bill. The TeeGo investment extends a visible pattern within the portfolio: backing operators in fast-growing recreational sports and hospitality concepts with strong unit economics and expansion potential. With padel and now indoor golf, Middleton Enterprises is positioning itself in two of the fastest growing segments of UK leisure.
