Mooofarm: Indian Agtech secures $13M funding round from international investors

Mooofarm is an Indian Agtech startup that works on solutions for dairy farmers, in order to make the dairy farming process more profitable. Through the platform, customers can buy cattle, access telehealth services as well as nutrition services. All of Mooofarm’s services can be accessed through an app, that has been downloaded more than 1.4M times so far. Now, the Indian Agtech secured a $13M Series A funding round, as announced on December 1st. The round was led by Aavishkaar Group. Further investors include Accel Partners, Alteria Capital, Rockstart or Navus Ventures.

Navus Ventures: Lely single family office as Agtech investor

Amongst the investors of Mooofarm’s recent funding round is Navus Ventures. The firm serves as venture capital investment vehicle of the Lely family. The Dutch family office mainly invests in food and energy startups, covering rounds from pre-seed to Series A rounds. The family office is based in Maassluis. Other investments of Navus include SAIA Agrobotics, Ekobot, Zenon Energy or FiberCore europe. The Lely family owns a major Dutch agricultural business and invests in the respective vertical through their family office Navus Ventures since 2013.
