Haran Family Office has participated in a USD 10 million bridge round raised by Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler startup Simple Energy. The round was led by the family office of Thyrocare founder Dr. Arokiaswamy Velumani, with Haran Family Office and investor Balamurugan Arumugam joining as co-participants. Simple Energy was founded in 2019 by Suhas Rajkumar and is engaged in the design and manufacture of electric two-wheelers. The company currently operates across nine Indian states — Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh — through a network of 53 dealer-operated stores. The company reported revenue of INR 27 crore for Q1 FY26. Proceeds from the bridge round are earmarked for store network expansion, with Simple Energy targeting 100 stores by December 2025 and 150 by March 2026, with approximately 90% of its store presence concentrated in South India.
