Yi He and Changpeng Zhao family office invests in OneKey’s $150M Series B

Crypto hardware wallet maker OneKey has completed a Series B funding round at a $150 million valuation, with YZi Labs leading the investment. The round is intended to accelerate OneKey’s development of advanced wallet hardware and on-chain security infrastructure. Founded in 2019, OneKey has positioned itself as a transparent and user-centric security provider in the crypto custody market. The firm reported a 300% annual increase in hardware wallet sales and an 11-fold growth in assets secured since its inception. The company plans to launch new wallet devices, expand its contract analysis tools, and grow its threat detection systems, including its Anzen lab, which stress-tests security devices under extreme conditions.

YZi Labs, formerly Binance Labs, was rebranded in January 2025 and now operates as the family office of Binance co-founders Yi He and Changpeng Zhao. The transition follows Zhao’s resignation as Binance CEO and the conclusion of legal proceedings in the United States. Under the leadership of Ella Zhang, YZi Labs manages approximately $10 billion in assets and has expanded its investment mandate to include Web3, artificial intelligence, and biotech. The firm backs ventures at all stages, typically investing between $500,000 and $50 million. YZi Labs’ lead investment in OneKey aligns with its focus on strengthening Web3 infrastructure and security, especially in light of the over $2.2 billion in crypto losses from hacks and scams reported in 2024.
