JustSolve has raised 3.7 million euros in a pre-seed round made up of 3 million euros of equity and 700,000 euros of grants, led by the American firm Base10 Partners, with Entourage, 2100 Ventures, Vento and Ithaca Investments also taking part, alongside angel investors including Marco Ogliengo of JetHR and Silvia Wang and Daniele Francescon of Serenis. The Milan company builds agentic AI infrastructure for credit management and out-of-court debt recovery, a process that in Italy still runs largely on call centres and paper. It was founded by Francesco Manicardi and Alberta Trombetta and spun out of Reef, the venture builder operated by Vento. The capital will take the team from six people to twenty. The investor list is notable for how Italian venture is now wired: 2100 Ventures is half owned by Edizione, the Benetton family holding, and Vento is the Exor programme, so two of the five institutional names in this round trace back to family holdings, with a third, Ithaca, doing so directly. An American lead investor at pre-seed remains the exception rather than the rule in Italy.

About Ithaca Investments: The Berlusconi family office

Ithaca Investments is the investment vehicle connected to the Berlusconi family, whose interests centre on MFE-MediaForEurope, the broadcasting group operating in Italy, Spain and Germany, and on the holding company Fininvest. The office does not maintain an accessible website and publishes no portfolio, so its activity becomes visible only when companies list it among their backers. Two such appearances came on the same day in September 2026, in the pre-seed rounds of the legaltech company Iusful and of JustSolve, both Milan businesses selling AI-based software into professional services. That is a narrow but coherent pattern: early-stage Italian software aimed at a domestic professional market rather than at global expansion from day one. Italian family offices have moved into venture capital later than their French and German counterparts, and vehicles such as Ithaca now sit alongside the country’s small group of institutional early-stage funds, often appearing in the same rounds.
