Edizione S.p.A., the family office of the Benetton family, has completed the integration of 21 Invest and Tages into a single alternative asset management platform, 21 Next, with the closing announced on 3 September 2026. Edizione holds 55 per cent of the new company and the founders and senior management hold the remaining 45 per cent, a group that includes Alessandro Benetton on the 21 Invest side and Panfilo Tarantelli, Umberto Quadrino and Sergio Ascolani on the 21 Tages side. The platform starts with roughly 3 billion euros under management across eleven active funds and more than 100 professionals in Treviso, Milan and Paris, and it targets more than 10 billion euros over time. Edizione is committing 500 million euros of seed capital for growth, and a new pan-European private equity fund of 800 million euros is being prepared for lower mid-market buyouts. The existing funds cover four flagship buyout vehicles, three energy transition funds holding more than 500 plants and around one gigawatt of capacity, a healthcare fund, a mid-market infrastructure fund, a private debt fund and a continuation fund. Clearances came from the European Commission, the Italian competition authority, the Bank of Italy and the French regulator.
