Antetokounmpo Family Office Invests $21M in Chicago Apartments

Ante, Inc., the family office of NBA star Giannis Antetokounmpo and his brothers, has acquired Harmony Apartments, a newly constructed residential building on Chicago’s North Side, for more than $21 million. The property was completed in 2024 and comprises 56 residential units across four stories. Essex Realty Group brokered the transaction, with Old National Bank providing $11 million in financing. The Chicago acquisition is part of a broader expansion push: over the past several months, Ante has deployed more than $69 million across multiple residential properties totaling 186 apartment units in Chicago, Wisconsin, and Brooklyn. Previous acquisitions include The Atwater, a 39-unit building in Shorewood, Wisconsin ($11.75M, October 2025), The Emerson, a 41-unit building in Madison, Wisconsin ($11.6M, November 2025), and The Lawrence, a 50-unit portfolio of two neighboring buildings in Brooklyn’s Prospect Lefferts Gardens neighborhood (~$25.2M, November 2025).
